ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is a safe, natural and effective treatment that has been used for 2,000 years to treat imbalances in the body, that present as symptoms or pain. Using hair thin needles, which are strategically placed at various meridians in the body, Acupuncture works to free up stagnant Qi, which is causing an imbalance. This method encourages the body to heal naturally by bringing the body into a state of balance, improving overall bodily function and preventing disease. At Therapeutic Bodywork, our approach to your health is comprehensive and each Acupuncture appointment may include gentle needling, cupping, moxa, bodywork, and dietary + lifestyle recommendations to help guide you to optimal health.
While one Acupuncture session may leave you feeling relaxed and slightly better, a few sessions are encouraged to determine the efficacy of your treatment. Packages are available to help defray the cost of subsequent sessions.

Insurance
Although we do not directly bill insurance, we are happy to support in the reimbursement process by providing insurances codes and treatment invoices.
Please contact your insurance company directly to inquire about reimbursement for your treatments. We are not a billing center and therefore are limited in our abilities to aid in this process.
Acupuncture - Initial Session
A comprehensive assessment of your medical history and present symptoms will determine a suitable treatment protocol. Treatment can include gentle needle acupuncture, cupping, moxa, lifestyle and nutrition guidance.
Initial Session = $140
Acupuncture – Follow Up
Follow up sessions will be based on the initial appointment and plan of care established with the acupuncturist.
Follow Up Session = $95
Acupuncture - LED Light Add-On
Low-level light therapy, also known as photobiostimulation, is the application of light energy to the body to obtain therapeutic benefits that help to improve cellular performance. Benefits include pain relief, increased circulation, decreased inflammation and more.
LED Light Therapy can be added to any Acupuncture session and does not add extra time.

Acupuncture for Kids
Yes, we treat children of all ages! These sessions can be a combination of bodywork, non-insertive needling, cupping, dietary recommendations, moxa and/or herbs. Our comprehensive approach treats both physical and emotional disorders and can be catered to the comfort level of the child and family. In general, children respond very quickly and positively to treatments and thus, the duration and course of treatment is often shorter. This treatment is for those 12 years of age and under.
