Administrative Team
With eleven treatment rooms and an ever-growing team of practitioners, it takes a solid team of management and scheduling experts to keep us on track, all while providing exceptional customer service. While some work behind the scenes and others are front and center, each and every one of our administrative team members is essential to our success. Need assistance scheduling? Aren’t sure which service would be best for your ailment? Curious about memberships? One of our dynamic administrative team members will know how to help!
Katie McCloskey, Marketing Director + Assistant Manager
Katie grew up in Connecticut and spent many summer vacations enjoying the beaches of Cape Cod. After graduating from the University of Connecticut, she began working as a seasonal Outdoor Educator in Sandwich, where she met her husband, Stephen. She then spent a few years in Northern California, teaching students in the Redwoods and eventually leading the Communications and Marketing department at Westminster Woods Camp and Conference Center. Katie and Stephen returned to Cape Cod full time in 2018 and have recently become permanent residents of Mashpee.
As our Assistant Manager, Katie works hard behind the scenes to lead our marketing efforts, support our incredible (and ever growing) team, and help navigate the explosive growth TB has seen over the past few years. She loves working with this team of amazing women and witnessing the blissful transformation of clients as they leave the treatment room. In her free time, Katie enjoys going for walks with her cat, Mowgli and her dog, Murray, exploring as many hiking trails as possible and kayaking whenever the opportunity strikes.
Jamie Lemon, Head of Administration + Client Relations Manager
Jamie was born and raised on Cape Cod and is a graduate of Barnstable High School. After many years in the restaurant industry working as a server and a bartender, Jamie is excited to apply her knowledge of customer service to her position here at Therapeutic Bodywork. She loves our healing atmosphere and meeting new people everyday!
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, attending concerts, finding new restaurants to try and going for walks with her dog, Spice Girl.
Livia Fontaine, Scheduling + Logistics Coordinator
Livia grew up right in Cotuit center. As a born and raised Cape Codder, she has always had a love for nature. Her summer jobs growing up include working at a summer camp in Osterville, making hot dogs for Cotuit Kettleer games, hostessing at the Kettle Ho and of course selling lemonade on Main Street Cotuit.
She graduated from Suffolk University with a degree in Environmental Studies, and focused the majority of her efforts while in school to nutrition and environmental justice. The summer after her graduation from college, Livia worked on a fully organic production farm in Pennsylvania. She learned about the wonders of organically sourced produce, as well as nutritional and medicinal properties of produce and herbs. Her favorite medicinal herb is lemon balm.
If she’s not working in TB2 land, you can find Livia enjoying time with her friends and family, indulging in a coffee at Nirvana, lifting at the gym, going on long walks around Cape Cod and maybe catching a sunset or two.
Lea Southwick, Front Desk Coordinator
Lea has always had a special connection to the Cape, spending summers here with her
grandparents, parents, and later, her own children. She still fondly remembers her
grandmother’s tiny one-room cottage in Maushop Village—complete with an outdoor
shower—and her grandfather’s little shack by the water, where she’d pick her own mussels.
Now, she’s made Mashpee her permanent home and couldn’t be happier!
A longtime advocate for holistic health, Lea spent over 20 years as a massage therapist. In the ’90s, she founded a wellness center in Natick, where she offered yoga, massage, aromatherapy, workshops, and a retail gift shop. After closing the center, she followed her second passion—interior design, home staging, and color consultation—helping people create beautiful, inviting spaces.
When she’s not at TB, you’ll find Lea catching up with friends and family (including her two grown sons), exploring local boutiques and art galleries, or just soaking in everything the Cape has to offer.
Lyn Goldman, Front Desk Coordinator
Lyn is a Massachusetts native and a Merrimack College graduate. Semi retired, she recently transitioned from summering on Cape Cod with her family for the past decade to becoming a Barnstable resident with her husband now that their children are grown and flown.
As an afternoon Front Desk Coordinator, Lyn enjoys sharing her customer service insight from her past careers as a dedicated education professional with expertise in independent school and nonprofit constituency engagement, leadership administration and project management.
