A bodywork session with Gustavo is informed by his 15 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, his advanced training in Structural Integration at the Rolfing Institute and decades of studying Visceral Manipulation and Dynamic Manual Interface with Frank Lowen. Combining the fundamental relaxing principles of massage therapy, with gentle, yet effective techniques, a bodywork session with Gustavo focuses on increasing range of motion in the joints, normalizing tension of the fascia and other connective tissues, to reestablish optimal function and return the body to health.

What is Visceral Manipulation?
This technique involves gentle, specifically targeted manual therapy techniques applied to the internal organs, such as the liver, intestines, or kidneys, to improve their mobility and function. Restrictions in the movement of these organs can lead to various health problems, and by releasing these restrictions, they can help improve organ function and alleviate related symptoms.
What is Dynamic Manual Interface?
DMI is a therapeutic approach developed by Frank Lowen that focuses on the interaction between the nervous system, connective tissues, and musculoskeletal system. It involves gentle manual therapy techniques aimed at addressing tension, restrictions, and imbalances in these systems to promote overall health and well-being.
